Paperbags Ltd recognizes the importance of conserving the earth’s natural resources to protect the planet. We acknowledge that our actions have a direct impact on the planet, therefore we constantly engage in an ongoing process of improvement to sustain and protect the environment.
We believe that integrated actions taken within its operation to conserve natural resources and protect the environment, makes sound business sense. Paperbags Ltd will ensure that any potentially harmful impacts that its’ processes and products may have on the environment are minimized at the very least if not eradicated.
Our environmental policy aims at minimizing the impact to the environment in the definition, design, manufacture, support, and use of our products by reusing, recycling, and adopting processes that conserve raw materials, energy, and water.
With this in mind, we provide the necessary financial and human resources to comply with the requirements of this policy and hence manufacture almost 100% biodegradable eco-friendly packaging
Corporate Social Responsibility
At Paperbags Ltd, we understand that we have a responsibility beyond our day-to-day operations. As a result, we actively seek out opportunities to support and empower local communities, fostering sustainable development and positive change.
Through our CSR efforts, we have been actively involved in various food drives, working hand in hand with local organizations to combat hunger and support vulnerable populations. We believe that access to basic necessities, such as food, is a fundamental right, and we strive to make a difference in the lives of those in need.
Another aspect of our CSR initiatives focuses on environmental conservation, which is deeply ingrained in our company values. We have proudly undertaken tree-planting projects in different regions of Kenya, recognizing the vital role that trees play in sustaining our ecosystem. By planting trees, we aim to mitigate the impact of deforestation, combat climate change, and create a greener and healthier environment for generations to come.
